USSH's Job Fair 2025 serves as a bridge between students, the university, and employers, providing students with opportunities to learn about the labor market, access attractive job positions, and experience real-life interviews. At the same time, it's an opportunity for businesses to find potential talent from one of the country's leading training institutions in the social sciences and humanities.
In his opening remarks at the job fair, Professor Hoang Anh Tuan, Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, stated: "The job fair has been organized annually by the university for many years, and is one of the activities in the series of events aimed at caring for, supporting, and guiding students. With a spirit of creativity and innovation, USSH's Job Fair 2025 has brought many valuable benefits to students, the university, and businesses. Accordingly, USSH's Job Fair 2025 attracted the participation of 68 employers, offering 1,270 job positions for direct interviews and recruitment for students from 28 training programs of the university. The job positions offered by employers at USSH's Job Fair 2025 are diverse across many fields and professions." In particular, the large number of job openings from research and training units demonstrates that the university's training programs are not only academic and classic but also highly practical and meet the demanding needs of the labor market.

Professor Hoang Anh Tuan expressed his gratitude for the support of organizations and businesses alongside the university throughout the past period. The Job Fair - Networking with Employers 2025 officially opened, attracting the participation of many organizations, businesses, and students.

Professor Hoang Anh Tuan emphasized that a culture of quality assurance is a key factor in building the position and reputation of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. The university constantly improves and enhances the quality of its training programs to meet society's demands for high-quality human resources.
Rector Hoang Anh Tuan stated that a close and effective connection between the university and employers is a consistent principle in the development strategy of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. In addition to providing job opportunities for students at the Job Fair and Employer Networking event, organizations and businesses also participate in other university activities, such as teaching and guiding students in practical internships.
The university leadership also emphasized that, in the context of rapidly developing technology, which poses many challenges to the labor market, some professions and job positions have been replaced or interfered with by AI. However, with the view that technology is a tool to support and increase the value of students after graduation, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities has proactively equipped students with the skills to apply technology in their studies and research.
The university has successfully developed a Digital Competency Framework for students in collaboration with META Group (Facebook), integrating modules on technology use and AI applications for faculty, students, and pupils. In May 2024, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities became the first university to issue a Digital Competency Framework for students, aiming to help students acquire the necessary digital skills to live, study, work, and participate in social interactions proactively, positively, and safely in the digital environment.
Recently, within the framework of the Project to enhance artificial intelligence (AI) gene generation capabilities for lecturers and students, implemented from the end of 2024 to March 2025, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, in collaboration with Meta Group, successfully organized 5 training courses on AI gene generation with over 250 lecturers and specialists participating, and 16 courses for high school and university students attracting more than 800 learners.
Humanities graduates meet the increasing demands of employers. The Job Fair - Connecting Employers attracted the participation of nearly 70 organizations and businesses from various sectors. From the perspective of a long-standing business partner of the university and also a recruiter at USSH's Job Fair 2025, Ms. Nguyen Thu Huyen - Director of the Nguyen Trai Transaction Office, West Hanoi Branch, SHB Commercial Joint Stock Bank, highly appreciated the university's organization of the Job Fair - connecting with employers, as well as the student care activities of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, not only in providing knowledge but also in closely guiding and assisting students in finding jobs from their first year of study. The university regularly connects with businesses, including SHB Bank, to organize programs that bring students to businesses to experience and directly interact with the working environment. This gives students the opportunity to learn, discover their strengths, and determine their future career paths. Representatives from SHB Bank also highly appreciated the dynamism, creativity, quick adaptability, eagerness to learn, and thirst for knowledge of students from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in their search for job opportunities from businesses.
Mr. Pham Van Tan, General Director of Phuc Tan Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company, shared: "At this time, students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities are very eager to prove their abilities as they are about to graduate. Dynamism, boldness, and quick adaptation to the labor market are outstanding qualities that help them meet the needs of employers. At this year's Job Fair - connecting with employers, Phuc Tan Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company, along with several other businesses, organized a talk about work experience and recruitment for students from the Anthropology and Religious Studies departments. Every year, the company recruits interns from various departments of VNU-USSH and creates a good environment for students to have the opportunity to develop their personal abilities, skills, and knowledge honed during their studies."

Mr. Pham Duc Tien, Director of the Bidding Ecosystem Joint Stock Company and a former student of the Faculty of Information and Library Science, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, said that even while still in school, he received career guidance from his teachers, helping him find his true passion and guiding students on the path to success.
“As a representative of a technology company, I have observed that students from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities are very talented, adaptable, and capable of doing many different things. This is also an advantage for students studying basic science majors at the university,” shared Mr. Pham Duc Tien. Every year, Mr. Tien's company creates many internship opportunities for students and recruits students from the Faculty of Information and Library Science to fill various positions.

USSH's Job Fair 2025 was organized as a series of activities throughout March 2025, including three talk shows and one main event held on the campus of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, attracting nearly 5,000 students and trainees. Through this event, students had the opportunity to learn about career trends, understand recruitment requirements in various fields, and equip themselves with the necessary skills to enter the job market.By attending the job fair, students can proactively connect with recruiters, participate in direct interviews, and apply for suitable positions. In addition, they receive career counseling, useful advice from HR experts, and guidance on how to leverage artificial intelligence to improve the quality of their job applications.

For Vi Thùy Linh, a second-year student in the Faculty of Tourism Studies, this is an opportunity to meet and exchange ideas with businesses in their areas of interest, to get closer to the fields they are studying, and thus gain a more concrete understanding of their future careers. Participating directly with businesses helps her grasp the requirements that employers need from students, and Thùy Linh feels confident in approaching job opportunities even while still a second-year student.

Nguyen Thi Hang, a second-year student in the Faculty of Anthropology and Religious Studies, expressed her excitement at finding a suitable job at the Job Fair. Hang shared that she had some concerns about studying basic sciences, but through USSH's Job Fair, many opportunities have opened up for students in her field.
The Job Fair - Connecting Employers at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities attracted many alumni who now hold important roles such as department directors and key positions in many large domestic and international corporations and businesses, who also participated as recruiters. This demonstrates that VNU-USSH students are able to adapt quickly to the times to achieve success and continue to bring their values ​​back to future generations of students. This contributes to building a strong, two-way link between the university and businesses, bringing businesses to the classroom while simultaneously providing students with the knowledge and skills to meet the new demands of the labor market.
