During the meeting, Professor Pham Quang Minh and Associate Professor Nguyen Quang Lieu introduced Mr. Tan Weiming to the High School for Gifted Students in Social Sciences and Humanities. Officially established in October 2019, the school became the first high school in Vietnam to train elite students in social sciences and humanities. In addition to specialized subjects, the High School for Gifted Students in Social Sciences and Humanities also focuses on teaching foreign languages and essential skills and qualities to help students adapt to their future learning and working environments. The school also pursues an internationalization policy, aiming to establish and develop relationships and partnerships with advanced partners worldwide.
Mr. Tan Weiming highly appreciated the internationalization policies of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and the High School for Gifted Students in Social Sciences and Humanities. He expressed that the Singapore Embassy in Vietnam is ready to support the High School for Gifted Students in Social Sciences and Humanities in connecting with high schools in Singapore, seeking scholarship opportunities, and implementing short-term and long-term exchange programs. In the future, when the Covid-19 pandemic has subsided, the Singapore Embassy plans to collaborate with the school to organize events introducing the educational environment and facilities in Singapore.

Following the meeting, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Quang Lieu invited Mr. Tan Weiming to tour the school's facilities, grounds, and classrooms to gain an overall understanding and plan for future collaborations.
