The Political Theory Research Program for the 2026 - 2030 period is a national key research program with profound theoretical and practical significance, aiming to summarize major theoretical and practical issues arising in the cause of innovation, construction and protection of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in the new period; at the same time, serving the requirements of summarizing 10 years of implementing the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, preparing to build the documents of the 14th National Party Congress, the country's socio-economic development, defense, security and foreign affairs strategies to 2035, with a vision to 2045.
The KX.04/26-30 Program aims to continue promoting the results and lessons learned from the KX.04/21-25 Program, while inheriting and developing the research results of previous Programs; closely linking with theoretical work, research, study, and teaching of political theory in the political system, contributing to providing scientific arguments for planning and perfecting the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's policies and laws; improving the Party's leadership and governing capacity, the effectiveness and efficiency of State management, promoting the strength of great national unity, promoting innovation, and developing the country rapidly and sustainably.

At the meeting, scientists exchanged and discussed issues on linking the content of Program KX.04/26-30 with major events of the nation, especially in the context of the country undergoing strong changes in the new era, the international and regional context is having many fluctuations. From research and teaching practices, scientists of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities proposed new research tasks such as issues of patriotism, interconnectivity, interdisciplinarity and promoting the application of technology, especially artificial intelligence in research and dissemination of theoretical issues; linking culture, including literature and art, with the development of the country's soft power...

Associate Professor, Dr. Bui Thanh Nam - Chairman of the School Council University of Social Sciences and Humanities Highly appreciating the comprehensive, accurate and new contributions of scientists from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Prof. Dr. Ta Ngoc Tan - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council expressed that the Program Drafting Committee will absorb and supplement the above opinions to complete the draft, submit it to the Politburo for approval, and serve as a basis for directing the implementation of research tasks under the KX.04/26-30 Program.
In the coming period, Program KX.04/26-30 will continue to inherit and research theoretical contents associated with the Party's general guidelines; on guidelines, policies and solutions to overcome difficulties and shortcomings; promote development in the fields of economy, culture, society, people, national defense, security, foreign affairs, Party building and the political system, and successfully implement the goals and tasks set forth by the 14th National Party Congress.
