PProfessor Nguyen Quang Lieu - Principal of the High School for Gifted Students in Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, delivered the opening remarks at the seminar.
This is one of the activities organized by the High School for Gifted Students in Social Sciences and Humanities in collaboration with the Department of Politics and Student Affairs, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, to welcome students into the new school year.
Based on simulated fire and explosion scenarios shared by speaker Dinh Van Hung (New World Academy Center), the students proposed solutions for safety in major fires in apartment buildings, private homes, schools, etc. The images left a strong impression, and the speaker's scientific explanations helped the students truly understand the necessity of ensuring fire safety at their residences and schools for themselves and their loved ones.
Speaker Dinh Van Hung also shared information about drug abuse and ways to prevent dangerous drugs, attracting the attention of students to equip themselves with self-protection skills.
Speaker Dinh Van Hung guided the students on how to escape from a fire and stay away from drug abuse.
During the seminar, students received insights into teenage love and self-protection from speaker Nguyen Thanh Lich, a life skills expert. Through questions and hands-on activities, the speaker shared ways to avoid unhealthy relationships during adolescence, equipping 10th, 11th, and 12th grade students with the skills to better understand and protect their bodies.
High school students get to experience the sensations of their bodies during adulthood.
The topics discussed in the seminar attracted a positive response from the students.
