In his opening speech at the final night, Dr. Duong Tat Thanh - Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union, President of the Student Association, and Head of the Organizing Committee of the program at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities - shared: The "Talent and Beauty of Humanities: USSH Gralent 2023" competition, with the theme "Honoring - Connecting - Inspiring," is a journey to find and honor promising individuals who possess both talent and beauty to represent the youth of the university. Emerging from the competition, these students will represent the university's student body, becoming a source of inspiration for a beautiful lifestyle, encouraging young people to be more confident, improve themselves, and contribute to bringing beautiful and humane images to the community and society.
The event attracted the attention of students and delegates from both within and outside the university.
It is known that, after 5 months of competition with many rounds and different themes, the Organizing Committee has selected 16 outstanding contestants to advance to the final night of USSH Gralent 2023. Here, the contestants will go through three main parts: the first part is a catwalk showcasing traditional costumes, the second part is a performance in evening gowns, and finally, the Q&A round. To surpass the other contestants and win the titles of Mr. and Miss USSH Gralent 2023, the 16 contestants will have to successfully convince 5 talented and impartial judges.
The judging panel included Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lai Quoc Khanh - Party Committee Member, Vice Rector of the University; Dr. Ngo Thi Kieu Oanh - Standing Committee Member of the Party Committee, President of the University's Trade Union, Deputy Head of the Personnel Department; Mr. Vo Hieu Nghia - Representative of the Diamond Sponsor Ucare Dental; Ms. Mai Anh Thu - Journalist/MC/Editor of People's Television; and Miss Luong Thuy Linh - Miss World Vietnam 2019.
The contestants showcased their beauty, grace, and personality in the traditional costume segment.
The traditional costume and evening gown segments received enthusiastic applause from the audience, who were strongly impressed by the meticulously prepared and elaborate dresses and suits. Based on the criteria and expert opinions, the judging panel successfully selected the 6 contestants with the most outstanding performances.
Recalling his ambitious and memorable student years, Associate Professor Lai Quoc Khanh shared his pride in the generations of students at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, who are not only talented but also dynamic, creative, and radiate beauty and intelligence.
Associate Professor Lai Quoc Khanh - Vice Rector of the university and member of the judging panel, believes that VNU-USSH students, with their beauty, will be an important resource for the development of the country.
Miss Luong Thuy Linh - a member of the judging panel - expressed her joy at the radiant beauty, humanistic qualities, and talent displayed by the VNU-USSH students.
The performance by famous rapper BigDaddy brought electrifying moments to the entire audience at the Faculty of Humanities.
Vu Bao Ngan excellently won the title of Miss and Tran Tuan Huy excellently won the title of Mr. at the USSH Gralent 2023 beauty and talent contest.
At the end of the final night, the judging panel of the "USSH Gralent 2023" competition selected the two most outstanding contestants and decided to award the title of Mr. to Tran Tuan Huy from the Faculty of Tourism Studies and the title of Miss to Vu Bao Ngan from the Institute of Journalism and Communication Training.
