In order to promote cooperation between universities training in basic sciences nationwide, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi hosted and coordinated with universities nationwide to organize the 2024 conference of universities training in basic sciences with the theme: "Basic sciences with national responsibility".

The training course on Teaching Vietnamese for Overseas Vietnamese Teachers is an annual activity organized by the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in collaboration with the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) to promote the preservation of Vietnamese language and culture around the world.

His simple appearance and sincere stories about the years of standing on the podium while doing scientific research in the fields of Philosophy and Religious Studies gave me admiration and respect for a teacher and scientist who has devoted his whole life to the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU.

On November 6, 2024, Quacquarelli Symonds announced the results of the 2025 Asian University Rankings (QS AUR 2025). Accordingly, Hanoi National University is ranked 161 (up 26 places from 187th place of QS AUR 2024) - in the group of 17% of leading universities in Asia.
