On December 10, 2024, the QS ranking organization announced the results of the QS World University Rankings: Sustainability 2025 for 1,751 higher education institutions worldwide. In this ranking, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU) made significant progress, ranking 325th globally (an increase of 456 places compared to its ranking in the top 781-790 in the QS World University Rankings: Sustainability 2024), 51st in Asia, and 1st in Vietnam. The results were announced on the anniversary of VNU's founding (December 10, 1993 - December 10, 2024).

The training course on teaching Vietnamese to Vietnamese teachers abroad is an annual activity organized by the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in collaboration with the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH), to promote the preservation of the Vietnamese language and culture worldwide.

I met Professor Nguyen Quang Hung at the school canteen. His simple appearance and sincere stories about his many years of teaching alongside his scientific research in Philosophy and Religious Studies filled me with admiration and respect for an educator and scientist who has dedicated his entire life to the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi.

This morning, November 29, 2024, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH), in collaboration with the Propaganda Department of the Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee and the Lao Cai Provincial Political School, organized the national scientific conference "Promoting the Values ​​and Resources of Social and Humanities to Serve the Development of Lao Cai Province into a Growth Pole and Regional Connectivity Center by 2030, with a Vision to 2050".
