This morning, December 13, 2024, four students from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, were honored to receive scholarships from the Asian Development Fund (ADF) (South Korea).
The Asian Development Fund (ADF) scholarship is awarded to students with outstanding achievements in the 2024 university entrance exam, active participation in social activities, and clear study plans, with priority given to students from disadvantaged backgrounds. Each scholarship awarded to students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities is worth US$1,000 per student. In addition, the Fund also awarded scholarships to a total of 42 students from member universities of the Vietnam National University, Hanoi.
Over the years, the Asian Development Fund has awarded numerous valuable scholarships to students from various disciplines at Vietnam National University, Hanoi in general, and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in particular. This year's scholarship recipients are students from the Oriental Studies, Public Relations, Psychology, and Social Work departments of VNU-USSH.

In addition to scholarships for academic achievement and scholarships for students in basic science fields, VNU-USSH students also receive scholarships from non-governmental organizations (Asia Development Foundation, Toshiba Scholarship Fund - Japan, Friedrich Naumann Foundation - Germany, etc.); and scholarships from domestic and international businesses (BIDV, Vietcombank, Samsung, Aeaon, Dao Minh Quang Foundation, Dinh Thien Ly Foundation, Phan Huu Giat Foundation, Danko, Lotte, KT, PonyChung, Posco, Vingroup, etc.). This will be a source of financial support, a partnership between the university and society to help students progress on their academic and personal development paths.
