Congratulating the new Master's and Doctoral graduates on their academic and research achievements at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, Professor Hoang Anh Tuan - Secretary of the Party Committee and Rector of the university - stated that with a training scale of over 12,000 learners, including 9,000 undergraduates, 2,000 postgraduate students and researchers, and more than 1,000 international students, VNU-USSH is an attractive place for learning and research. The university currently has 500 scientists, staff, and officials, of whom 80% hold doctoral degrees and more than 20% hold professor and associate professor titles. Improving the quality of training is always considered a key task of the university to provide high-quality, highly qualified human resources. To research, create, and disseminate knowledge in social sciences and humanities, serving the cause of national construction, defense, and international integration.
Previously, on December 16th, the university held an opening ceremony for 335 postgraduate students and 176 doctoral candidates across 36 master's programs and 31 doctoral programs. Dr. Nguyen Thu Trang shared that after completing her master's program in the US, she did not hesitate to choose the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, to continue her scientific research journey, instead of studying in developed countries. "I have complete confidence in choosing the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and am proud to have completed a very systematic, prestigious, and high-quality study and research program at this university," Dr. Nguyen Thu Trang expressed.
