On November 11, 2011, the Faculty of Philosophy solemnly celebrated its 35th anniversary (1976 - 2011). On November 10th, the Faculty of Literature organized a scientific conference on the theme "Reception of Literature and Art in Vietnam during the Integration Period". The conference was one of the activities leading up to the 55th anniversary of the Faculty of Literature. Attending the conference were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vu Duc Nghieu - Vice Rector of the University, faculty members, and scientists from within and outside the university.

On November 9th, the 2011 Finance Conference of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities was held. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vu Duc Nghieu – Vice Rector – chaired the conference. Attendees included representatives from the leadership and finance specialists from various units.

On November 7th, Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh - Rector of the University - and Professor Trong Vi Hop - Rector of Guangdong University of Foreign Languages ​​and Foreign Trade (China) - signed an agreement on future cooperation between the two universities.

A scientific seminar on the topic "The Contribution of Socio-Political Organizations in the Process of Socio-Policy Planning" was organized by the Center for Policy Research (University of Social Sciences and Humanities) on November 3-4, 2011, at the Bao Son Hotel in Hanoi. The seminar focused on discussing and clarifying the role of socio-political organizations in the policy-making process in Vietnam.

To commemorate 38 years of its training tradition and 15 years as an independent unit of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, the Faculty of Information and Library Science organized a scientific conference on October 27th with the theme "The Vietnamese Information and Library Science Industry: Innovation and International Integration". The conference was attended by 80 delegates, including scientists, experts, and managers from various information and library agencies nationwide, with a total of 50 presentations.
