On the morning of November 2nd, 2011, Associate Professor Dr. Vu Duc Nghieu (Vice Rector of the University) along with the leaders of the Faculty of Tourism Studies and the Department of Anthropology held a meeting and working session with representatives from Indiana University – Purdue, Indianapolis (UIPUI), USA: Professor Sotiris Hji-Avgoustis - Head of the Department of Tourism Management and Professor Ian McIntosh - Director of the International Cooperation Department.

The closing ceremony and certificate awarding for the 6th course in screenwriting and film criticism under the Film Project, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, took place on October 28th.

On October 27th, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities awarded 80 Chung-Soo scholarships to students with outstanding academic achievements, student union officials with good academic performance, and students who overcame difficulties to excel in their studies.
