Based on the learning and training results of the second semester of the 2010-2011 school year, the School plans to list students of the QH-2008-X, QH-2009-X, QH-2010-X courses of the School to receive scholarships and social allowances in the first semester of the 2011-2012 school year.

The scientific conference with the theme “Quality culture in universities” was held on October 20. Attending were Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Kim Son - Vice Principal of the University, scientists, managers, and representatives of universities across the country.

The Faculty of Journalism and Communication (University of Social Sciences and Humanities) in collaboration with the Project “Enhancing the Capacity of Young Vietnamese Journalists” (sponsored by the US Embassy) will organize a training course on journalism skills in November 2011, with a total value of 15,000 USD. In the cool autumn weather, new students of the 56th class of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities entered school this morning, September 4. As of 5:00 p.m. on September 4, 2011, 1,359 out of 1,450 candidates were summoned to enroll, reaching a rate of 93.7%.

On the evening of September 23, the art program "I am K56" took place at the Cultural House of Me Tri Dormitory. The conference of delegates of staff and civil servants of the 2011-2012 school year of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities was held on September 24. Attending the conference were Prof. Dr. Mai Trong Nhuan - Director of VNU, representatives of functional departments, member units of VNU and more than 200 staff and civil servants representing units in the University.

On September 25, 2011, the Dance for Life program was held for the first time at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.

On the morning of September 10, 2011, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities solemnly held the opening ceremony of the new school year 2011-2012.

"Francophone Week 2011" is an annual program organized by French-speaking students of the Faculty of Psychology (University of Social Sciences and Humanities), for students of French-speaking majors in particular and the student community in general.
