The Chairman of the City People's Committee assigned the Chairmen of the People's Committees of districts, towns and cities to direct and develop plans to ensure 24/7 on-duty work, especially at the headquarters of government agencies at all levels and local medical facilities to promptly handle all situations in the shortest time; proactively develop scenarios and organize drills at the ward, commune, town and urban area scale in accordance with the spirit of Directive No. 16/CT-TTg of the Prime Minister.
Localities also directed functional forces at the grassroots level, community Covid teams to coordinate with the Fatherland Front and local socio-political organizations to strengthen community surveillance, closely manage and monitor people returning from other provinces and cities.

Hospitals urgently review SARS-CoV-2 screening testing capacity, complete facilities, equipment, human resources and level II biosafety conditions to promptly support SARS-CoV-2 virus testing according to the instructions in Decision No. 2245/QD-BYT dated April 22, 2020 of the Ministry of Health.
Strengthen inspection of plans to organize quarantine facilities in districts, towns, and cities, advise and report to the City People's Committee to direct the implementation of plans to respond to quarantine for 30,000 and 50,000 people, with priority given to organizing in suburban areas.
The City People's Committee requested the City's Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and socio-political organizations to coordinate with grassroots functional forces to strengthen the implementation of epidemic prevention and control measures in the city.
Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Chu Ngoc Anh requested the people of the capital to strictly implement epidemic prevention and control measures according to the direction of the Central and the city; only go out when necessary; when detecting symptoms: cough, fever, shortness of breath, ... proactively contact local medical facilities to get samples taken, tested, and screened as soon as possible.
