On August 2nd, Comrade Le Quoc Minh (Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper) donated 200 million VND to support students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (Vietnam National University, Hanoi) who are facing difficulties due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Professor Hoang Anh Tuan (Rector of the University) received the donation.

Given the rapidly evolving and complex Covid-19 pandemic situation in several localities, including Hanoi City, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-Hanoi) requests its member and affiliated units to continue implementing many measures decisively, such as: vaccinating staff and lecturers; paying attention to the material and spiritual well-being of staff, workers, students, and postgraduate trainees.

Opportunities to recognize the beauty of our country, the solidarity and unity of our people in times of hardship and adversity, which we often overlook in our normal lives.

On the afternoon of May 7, 2021, the Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control of Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU) issued an urgent notice regarding the intensified implementation of measures to prevent and control the COVID-19 epidemic. This included a directive for undergraduate and postgraduate training units to continue implementing online teaching and learning methods until further notice.
