University of Social Sciences and Humanities - VNU Hanoi

On August 2nd, Comrade Le Quoc Minh (Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper) donated 200 million VND to support students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (Vietnam National University, Hanoi) who are facing difficulties due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Professor Hoang Anh Tuan (Rector of the University) received the donation.

This was the statement made by the Director of Vietnam National University, Hanoi, Le Quan, at the online training conference held at Vietnam National University, Hanoi, on August 2, 2021. The conference was held online.

Given the rapidly evolving and complex Covid-19 pandemic situation in several localities, including Hanoi City, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-Hanoi) requests its member and affiliated units to continue implementing many measures decisively, such as: vaccinating staff and lecturers; paying attention to the material and spiritual well-being of staff, workers, students, and postgraduate trainees.

On the evening of July 23, 2021, the Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee, Chu Ngoc Anh, signed Directive No. 17/CT-UBND implementing social distancing in the city to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic.

On the evening of July 21, 2021, the Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee, Chu Ngoc Anh, signed and issued Official Dispatch No. 16/CD-UBND on the implementation of urgent measures to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic in the city.

On July 21, 2021, the Standing Vice Director of Vietnam National University, Hanoi, Nguyen Hoang Hai, signed document No. 2150/ĐHQGHN-CT&CTHSSV regarding strengthening the care and support for students facing difficulties due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

In the program "Today's Issues," Professor Vu Minh Giang, Chairman of the Science and Training Council of Vietnam National University, Hanoi, stated that epidemics and natural disasters have taken much from us, but they have also given us opportunities. Opportunities to recognize the beauty of our country, the solidarity and unity of our people in times of hardship and adversity, which we often overlook in our normal lives.

On July 12, 2021, the Hanoi People's Committee issued an urgent directive on implementing measures to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic in light of the complex developments of the disease.

On the afternoon of May 7, 2021, the Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control of Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU) issued an urgent notice regarding the intensified implementation of measures to prevent and control the COVID-19 epidemic. This included a directive for undergraduate and postgraduate training units to continue implementing online teaching and learning methods until further notice.
