On October 2nd, 2010, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Hanoi People's Committee, and the KX.09 Program Office held a ceremony to announce the results of the State-level scientific research program: “Research on promoting the natural, economic, social conditions and historical-cultural values of 1000 years of Thang Long - Hanoi to serve the comprehensive development of the Capital City”, code number KX.09.
On October 2nd, 2010, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Hanoi People's Committee, and the KX.09 Program Office held a ceremony to announce the results of the State-level scientific research program: “Research on promoting the natural, economic, social conditions and historical-cultural values of 1000 years of Thang Long - Hanoi to serve the comprehensive development of the Capital City”, code number KX.09.Of the 12 research projects, 3, led by faculty members of the History Department - University of Social Sciences and Humanities, were recognized as outstanding. The project "Thang Long - Hanoi as the political and administrative center of the country - lessons on management and development," code KX.09.02, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vu Van Quan, received a Certificate of Merit from the Minister of Science and Technology. The project "Lessons learned from the foreign relations activities of Thang Long - Hanoi," code KX.09.03, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Xuan Hang, and the project "Education and training in Thang Long - Hanoi: orientation for the development of education and training in the capital during the period of industrialization and modernization," code KX.09.07, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Hai Ke, received Certificates of Merit from the Chairman of the People's Committee of Hanoi City. These research topics were also published in the "Thang Long Millennium Cultural Heritage Book Collection" - one of the official activities of the 10-day Grand Celebration. This is the largest scientific research program on Thang Long - Hanoi to date, contributing to comprehensively addressing fundamental issues related to the life of Thang Long - Hanoi over ten centuries, identifying integrated potentials from tradition, preserved in the present, and proposing viewpoints, orientations, and solutions to effectively utilize that potential to serve the sustainable development of the Capital. The program, chaired by the Hanoi People's Committee and headed by Professor Phung Huu Phu, includes 11 research topics in specific areas of life in Thang Long - Hanoi and one concluding topic, coded from KX.09.01 to KX.09.12.
