30 students from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities received AEON scholarships.

On the morning of December 12, 2017, at AEONMALL Long Bien, Hanoi, the AEON Scholarship Fund, sponsored by AEON 1% Club, held a scholarship awarding ceremony for 30 students from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi.

Attending the scholarship awarding ceremony, on behalf of AEON Group and the AEON 1% Club Scholarship Fund were Ms. Sasai Kakou (Deputy Chief Representative of JETRO Vietnam Office), Mr. Yasutsugu Iwamura (General Director of AEONMALL Vietnam), Mr. Ishikawa Tadahiko (Regional Director of AEON Vietnam, Hanoi), Mr. Yamamura Naohiro (Director of Hanoi Branch, AEON Delight Vietnam), and Mr. Honda Yosei (General Secretary of AEON 1% Club). On behalf of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Associate Professor Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan (Vice Rector of the University) was present.

As part of an official cooperation agreement with the University of Social Sciences and Humanities since 2012, this is the sixth consecutive year that AEON Group has awarded scholarships to students of the University. Each scholarship is worth 290 USD.

Speaking at the scholarship awarding ceremony, Mr. Honda Yosei (General Secretary of AEON 1% Club) stated that the goal of the scholarship is to support students in their studies, scientific research, and exchanges with Vietnamese students. This will further strengthen the friendly relations between Vietnam and Japan.

Mr. Yasutsugu Iwamura (General Director of AEONMALL Vietnam) shared with the students about the AEON Group, AEONMALL Vietnam, as well as the philosophy that the group and company are pursuing and the requirements for high-quality human resources.

At the ceremony, Vice Rector Hoang Anh Tuan expressed his gratitude to AEON Group for choosing the University of Social Sciences and Humanities to award scholarships, which helps motivate students in their studies and training. Vice Rector Hoang Anh Tuan hoped that the Scholarship Fund in particular and AEON Group in general would continue to show interest in implementing more cooperative activities between the two entities in the future.

AEON Group awarded scholarships to students from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and the Foreign Trade University. Representing the scholarship recipients, Nguyen Thi Huong Thao (Faculty of Oriental Studies) and Ta Hong Hanh (Faculty of Literature) expressed their gratitude for AEON Group's support and shared their future aspirations with AEON representatives.

Following the scholarship awarding ceremony, representatives from AEON Group took the time to share information about their recruitment needs and experiences, and to listen to the students' aspirations and concerns.
