
Associate Professor Tran Thi Minh Hoa attended the working session with the VNU Hanoi Evaluation Team.
Dr. Pham Hong Long (Head of the Tourism Department) gave a brief overview of the department's history and development, along with its training programs and recent achievements, such as: the department's efforts to innovate its training programs to keep them up-to-date with regional standards, enhance practical training and internships for students, improve the capacity of academic advisors, and increase opportunities for direct dialogue with students… However, Dr. Pham Hong Long also mentioned some shortcomings, such as: graduates not yet finding jobs related to their field of study, and the limited number of lecturers who can use foreign languages for teaching…

Dr. Pham Hong Long presented a report on the training program model currently being applied by the Faculty of Tourism Studies.
After listening to the reports from Dr. Pham Hong Long, Dr. Hoang Thi Xuan Hoa (Head of the VNU Hanoi expert survey team) shared the objectives of the VNU Hanoi peer review team, which is to survey the Tourism and Travel Service Management program according to AUN criteria, and to provide feedback and suggestions for the University and Faculty to improve areas that are still lacking, thereby enhancing the quality of training towards integration with the region and the world.

Dr. Hoang Thi Xuan Hoa expressed her gratitude to the school's leadership and the Faculty of Tourism Studies.
Also at the opening session, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thi Minh Hoa (Vice Rector of the university) emphasized: The university, as well as the Faculty of Tourism Studies, understands the importance of peer-reviewed training quality assessment according to AUN-QA standards. The university expects that the results of the expert team's work will help adjust the training program and training activities according to international standards, thereby improving the quality of training and the university's position in the region.
During the working sessions, the expert team directly interviewed representatives of the university's leadership, faculty leaders, training support staff, students, and alumni of the faculty to provide the most accurate assessments.
