Prof. Dr. Le Van Hao (Deputy Director of the Institute of Psychology), Prof. Yuri Zinchenco (Head of the Department of Psychology - Moscow State University, Russian Federation), Prof. Dr. Odette Lescarret (Honorary Professor of Hanoi National University).
On the side of the School, the ceremony was attended by Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Kim (Party Committee Secretary, Vice Principal of the School), Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh (Director of the Institute of Policy and Management, former Party Committee Secretary, former Principal of the School), Dr. Ngo Thi Kieu Oanh (Chairwoman of the School's Trade Union, Head of the Organization and Personnel Department), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Khanh (former Head of the Psychology Department, first term 1997-2001). Many generations of students and trainees of the Faculty and representatives of units and organizations that have cooperated with the Faculty over the past 20 years attended the ceremony.

Over the past 20 years, the Faculty of Psychology has achieved many achievements, marking its mark on the overall development of the University and the Psychology industry in Vietnam. As a young and dynamic faculty, the Faculty of Psychology is one of the leading units in the whole University in terms of international cooperation, scientific research and the number of lecturers with high academic degrees. Currently, the Faculty has 20 permanent staff, including 2 professors, 6 associate professors, 15 PhDs and 3 masters. The training program of the Faculty is very diverse: bachelor's degree including standard and high-quality programs; 3 master's programs in the direction of research, application and international cooperation and doctoral training program. The Faculty's entrance exam scores are always among the top in the whole University, which demonstrates the attractiveness of the Psychology industry as well as the reputation of the Faculty in society.
The Faculty has trained 21 standard courses, along with 3 courses of CLC courses. 1,400 bachelors, 225 masters, 10 doctors. Faculty staff presided over and participated in 75 research topics at all levels, 10 Nafosted fund topics, 8 international projects, and coordinated with non-governmental organizations to conduct many independent assessments and intervention studies. The Faculty publishes 19 monographs; publishes 40 to 50 articles annually in journals with national and international indexes; accepts 29 textbooks and lectures, covering over 80% of the subjects. Students conduct 15 to 20 scientific research topics each year.

We understand that the above tasks can only be successful with the support and direction of the Party Committee, the School Board of Directors, the valuable help of teachers inside and outside the Faculty, the solidarity, consensus and high determination of all staff and students in the Faculty”.

Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Kim, Party Secretary, Vice Principal of the School spoke:“As a science that studies the spiritual life of humans, psychology always seeks to apply scientific theories and methods to solve personal and social psychological problems, while helping people achieve a more peaceful and happier life. 20 years is not a long time for a science, a training unit, but it is enough for the Faculty of Psychology to gradually rise up to affirm its capacity and position, achieving very proud achievements. The School believes that, in the coming period, with a spirit of solidarity and high determination, teachers and students of the Faculty of Psychology will successfully complete the training and scientific research tasks assigned by VNU and the School and expected by society”.The Party Secretary of the School emphasized that the Faculty needs to continue focusing resources on building major research topics and projects, domestic and international cooperation programs to socialize, realize and spread the values of contributions to the industry and society.

The Association looks forward to promoting an effective and practical cooperative relationship with the Psychology Faculty in the future."
On this occasion, the collective and individual teachers of the Faculty received many certificates of merit from the Ministry of Education and Training, Hanoi National University, and the Vietnam Association of Social Psychology.

The French training program is a highlight and makes a difference in the training activities of the Faculty of Psychology. Since its inception, the French-language Bachelor of Clinical Psychology program and the French-language Master of Science program "Child and Adolescent Developmental Psychology" have received enthusiastic attention and support from the leadership and lecturers of Toulouse II University (France). During the ceremony, Prof. Dr. Odette Lescarret (Honorary Doctor of Hanoi National University) awarded graduation certificates to graduates of the French-language Master's program in the 2016-2017 academic year.
Over the past 20 years, the Faculty of Psychology has made great strides in international cooperation. The Faculty has established and maintained cooperation in training and scientific research with universities and research institutes in France, Poland, Norway, the Russian Federation, Brazil, Australia, and China. On this occasion, the Faculty signed a cooperation agreement with the Faculty of Psychology, Moscow State University (Russian Federation).

The Faculty of Psychology also expresses gratitude to generations of lecturers who have contributed to building the foundation and to individuals and organizations that have closely cooperated with the Faculty during 20 years of construction and development, helping the Faculty to increasingly establish a solid position, promote dynamism, creativity and reach further.
