In his opening remarks at the exhibition, Professor Nguyen Van Kim (Party Secretary and Vice Rector of the University) emphasized: “To make this exhibition possible today, the organizing committee has painstakingly selected a wealth of historical documents about the sea and islands, both domestically and internationally. The approach is multi-faceted, drawing on valuable domestic and international sources such as official documents and maps, as well as publications and research from around the world.”

Professor Nguyen Van Kim shared his thoughts on the nature, life, and activities of the people and soldiers on the island (the photos were taken by Professor Nguyen Van Kim himself during his visit).
Besides its documentary value, the exhibition also recreates the daily life of the people and soldiers on the island. This is through very authentic and specific experiences that Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Kim himself had during his visits and interactions with the people and soldiers.
Professor Nguyen Van Kim acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of the Museum of Anthropology in fulfilling the tasks assigned by the University's Party Committee.

The exhibition attracted the attention of a large number of faculty and students.
The exhibition holds great historical and educational significance for faculty and students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, regarding the issue of Vietnam's sovereignty and maritime territories. It fosters love for the homeland and empathy for the lives of the people and soldiers in Hoang Sa and Truong Sa.
