The opening ceremony of the evaluation program was attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thi Minh Hoa (Vice Rector of the University), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dang Thi Thu Huong (Head of the Faculty of Journalism and Communication), along with representatives from relevant departments and the entire faculty of the Faculty of Journalism and Communication.
Since April 2017, the Faculty of Journalism and Communication has been developing a self-assessment report on the quality of its Bachelor of Journalism program and preparing for participation in this survey.
Associate Professor Tran Thi Minh Hoa, Vice Rector of the University, delivered the opening remarks and emphasized: "The goal of evaluating the quality of training programs is to identify strengths and weaknesses, in order to find appropriate solutions for the development of each unit in particular and the entire University in general."

According to Dr. Nghiem Xuan Huy, the role and responsibility of the expert team is to work alongside the Faculty of Journalism and Communication in identifying issues according to quality assessment standards. All parties worked in a spirit of frankness, openness, and high responsibility.
Associate Professor Dr. Dang Thi Thu Huong (Head of the Faculty of Journalism and Communication) presented a summary report on the Bachelor's program in Journalism. Established in 1990, the Faculty of Journalism and Communication is one of the two largest training and research institutions in Vietnam, offering bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees. Notably, it is the only faculty-level unit offering both Journalism and Public Relations programs, and has three master's programs: research-oriented, application-oriented, and internationally collaborative. The report also presented the Faculty's approach to developing program outcomes, its training activities based on the philosophy of "student-centered learning," and identified strengths and weaknesses.
