64 students received Master's degrees in Tourism

On September 25 and 26, 2014, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities awarded master's degrees to 64 students majoring in Tourism, including 37 students in Hanoi and 27 students in Ho Chi Minh City.

These are students from training courses from 2009, 2010, 2011.

The Faculty of Tourism Studies, University of Social Sciences and Humanities is currently the only training institution in the country that offers postgraduate training in Tourism. The Faculty has been training Masters in Tourism since 2003, and to date has had 11 courses with more than 300 students receiving degrees.

Students of the Faculty are currently working at many tourism management agencies at the central and local levels; holding management positions in enterprises operating in the tourism industry; becoming lecturers at universities and colleges nationwide.

Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Thi Minh Hoa awarded degrees to Tourism Masters. The awarding ceremony for masters in Hanoi took place on the 5th floor of Building H, at 3:00 p.m., September 25, 2014.

The Master of Tourism training program at the Faculty has diverse contents, from subjects on Modern Tourism Theory, Modern Tourism Research Methods, Tourism Human Resource Management, Cultural Heritage in Tourism Business, Management Culture in Tourism Business to subjects on Travel Management, Tourism Business Development Strategy, Development Economics, Sustainable Tourism Development, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Applied Statistics in Tourism, Marketing in Tourism...

Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh awarded degrees to tourism masters at the Master's Degree Award Ceremony in Ho Chi Minh City at 1:30 p.m., September 26, 2014 at Ho Chi Minh City University of Culture.

Up to now, with 15 years of construction and development, the Faculty of Tourism is still the country's leading prestigious training address for Tourism Studies, the cradle of training lecturers and researchers on Tourism for many universities and research institutes nationwide.
