On January 13, 2011, an international scientific seminar on the theme "Korea-Vietnam Relations" was organized by the Center for WTO and International Studies and the Southeast Asian Research Exchange Program (SEASREP) and the Korea Institute of Southeast Asian Studies (KISEAS).
On January 13, 2011, an international scientific seminar on the theme "Korea-Vietnam Relations" was organized by the Center for WTO and International Studies and the Southeast Asian Research Exchange Program (SEASREP) and the Korea Institute of Southeast Asian Studies (KISEAS).The seminar was attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Kim - Vice Rector of the University, Prof. Kim Hoong Koo - Director General of the Institute of Southeast Asian Studies, and scientists from universities in Korea and Vietnam. The seminar focused on the following main topics: Vietnamese studies education in Korea; perceptions of Vietnam and its image in Korea; labor migration and the lives of Vietnamese workers in Korea. The Korea-Vietnam relations seminar aimed to promote cultural exchange and mutual understanding between the two countries, while establishing an academic foundation for cooperation. The Korea-Vietnam relations seminar is one of the collaborative activities of the Center for WTO and International Affairs and the Southeast Asian Research Exchange Program (SEASREP) and the Korea Institute of Southeast Asian Studies (KISEAS).
