Attending the seminar "Cooperation between Chinese and foreign universities"

From November 6 to November 9, 2008, Associate Professor Dr. Vu Duc Nghieu - Vice Principal of the University - attended the workshop "Cooperation between Chinese and foreign universities" at the invitation of Guangxi University (China). Also participating in the workshop were representatives from many universities in China, Korea, Japan, Thailand, Indonesia, the United States, and the United Kingdom.

At the workshop, representatives of the schools introduced their strengths, cooperation trends and discussed future cooperation directions. The discussed contents included: student exchange, teacher exchange, textbooks, documents, scientific information, training cooperation...

At the end of the workshop, delegates unanimously recommended that Jackson State University build a website called Guangxi Global Society and create links to partner university websites to announce information on scholarships, seminars, student and scholar exchanges. This will be an effective information bridge for promoting multilateral cooperation between universities.
