Thank you message from the Organizing Committee of the 50th Anniversary Celebration of the Faculty of Foreign Languages

Ladies and gentlemen,

On November 9, 2008, the 50th anniversary celebration of the Foreign Language Department (Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities) and the Foreign Language Department (Faculty of Natural Sciences), two units that separated from the former Faculty of Foreign Languages, Hanoi University, was successfully held.

The weather was pleasant and sunny, so more people came than expected, and everyone was happy and excited to reunite with their teachers and old friends after so many years apart. It was an unforgettable memory, and that was the most important factor in the success of the ceremony.

On behalf of the Organizing Committee, we would like to express our sincere gratitude to the leaders of Hanoi National University, the leaders of the two member universities, representatives of faculties, departments, agencies, and units for their interest, support, and for sending congratulatory flower arrangements and sharing in the joy with our two departments during the Festival.

Undoubtedly, there are many other unavoidable shortcomings and flaws in a grand event like this. The Organizing Committee hopes for your understanding and forgiveness.
