With the enthusiastic support and assistance from the Faculty of Literature's Student Union and Student Association, the 6th Faculty of Literature Drama Night, held as part of the activities celebrating Youth Month, is also an annual event of the Faculty of Literature. Nine drama teams competed in the preliminary round, and only the six best teams advanced to the final round. The judging panel included: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dao Duy Hiep (Head of the Department of Western Literature), Mr. Nguyen Hung Vi (Lecturer in the Department of Folklore Literature), and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Long (Lecturer in the Department of Literary Theory).
The six participating plays took the audience from one surprise to another, from the poignant "My Sister" to the tragic "Finding the Angel," from the humor of "Chi Pheo" to the outrage of "The Court of Conscience."
Commenting on the competition, teacher Nguyen Hung Vi said that the quality of the plays this year was outstanding, with many creative and surprising elements. The teams invested carefully, had a correct understanding of theatrical performance, and demonstrated acting abilities with psychological depth. The judging panel decided to award two prizes for Best Leading Actor and Best Leading Actress.
