Attending the signing ceremony, on the side of the Cao Bang Provincial Border Guard Command, there were representatives of the Command's leadership, leaders of border posts in the province; on the side of the Hanoi National University Delegation, there was the presence of the Secretary of the Hanoi National University Delegation and leaders of the school/faculty delegations under the Hanoi National University Delegation.
The delegation of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, a member school under the Hanoi National University, attended the ceremony and was honored to sign a cooperation agreement with Coc Pang Border Guard Station. Coc Pang Border Guard Station is one of the most difficult border guards stations in Cao Bang, in charge of the two border communes of Coc Pang and Duc Hanh, with the task of managing over 23 km of border, including 70 landmarks with steep mountainous terrain, making travel extremely difficult. The majority of people living around the station are ethnic minorities, so the educational level is still low, the rate of poor households is still high; health care and education have not met the requirements; the activities of party organizations, unions, and authorities at the village and hamlet levels still face many difficulties and limitations.
Sympathizing with the difficulties of soldiers, border guards and local people, talking with representatives of Coc Pang Border Guard Station, comrade Tran Bach Hieu - Secretary of the Youth Union of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities shared: “Over the years, the Youth Union of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities has been very active in volunteering in the highlands and border areas, attracting a large number of members to participate. In the coming time, the Youth Union of the school will continue to promote its existing traditions and actively coordinate with the officers and youth of Coc Pang Border Guard Station to help ethnic minorities gradually overcome poverty, improve their political awareness and stabilize their lives.”.
It can be affirmed that the Signing Ceremony of coordination activities between the Youth Union of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and Coc Pang Border Guard Station will be an important premise for the following activities of the youth of the two units.
At the end of the signing ceremony of the cooperation agreement, the two units took souvenir photos to show solidarity and promise practical and meaningful activities to take place in the future.
