Participating in the Conference on Youth Innovation and Integration among National Universities and Regional Universities.

Since 2012, the Conference of Youth Unions and Student Associations of National and Regional Universities has been established and has become an annual event. This activity is organized with the aim of strengthening exchanges and creating close ties between the Youth Unions and Student Associations of National and Regional Universities, sharing experiences and supporting each other in organizing and implementing youth and student movements, and exchanging practical experiences, learning from successful models, and finding useful solutions to improve the quality and effectiveness of activities supporting student learning, scientific research, and international integration, based on leveraging the strengths of interdisciplinary universities.

The 4th Conference, themed "Creativity - Integration," was hosted by the Youth Union and Student Association of the Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City, with the participation of 5 member conferences: the Youth Union and Student Association of the Vietnam National University Hanoi, the Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City, Thai Nguyen University, Hue University, and Da Nang University, along with 2 guest conferences: the Youth Union and Student Association of Can Tho University and Tay Nguyen University.

At this conference, delegates exchanged and shared experiences, best practices, innovative approaches, and useful and creative solutions in the practical implementation of Youth Union work and youth movements. Topics discussed included: supporting Youth Union members and students in their studies, scientific research, personal and career development, and improving their employability after graduation; exchanging practical experiences on the integration of youth and students into the ASEAN community, international exchange activities, cultural exchange activities, and volunteer work with other countries and organizations both domestically and internationally; and equipping students with the necessary knowledge and skills for Vietnam's participation in the ASEAN community.

Comrade Tran Bach Hieu (Secretary of the Youth Union of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities) represented the Youth Union and Student Association of Hanoi National University to present a paper at the Conference on the creative and integrative activities of the university's youth in the past period.

The conference issued a joint statement based on the presentations, speeches, and exchanges of the delegates. The determination and unity of the delegates at the conference promise new successes in the work of the Youth Union and Student Association and the youth and student movement of the National and regional universities. At the end of the conference, the Youth Union and Student Association of the National University of Ho Chi Minh City handed over the right to organize the 5th Conference to the Youth Union and Student Association of Thai Nguyen University in 2016.
