Mr. Le Quang Winston expressed his pleasure at visiting the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and his desire to build a bridge of cooperation between the University and US universities through the US Embassy. He stated that the United States always respects and desires long-term cooperation with Vietnam, especially in the context of the two countries having signed the Trans-Pacific Strategic Economic Partnership Agreement (TPP). He proposed establishing a Center for Applied Economic Development at the University to facilitate faculty and graduate students in researching, applying, and practicing theories on economic policy planning and implementation. Simultaneously, the Center would support the implementation of economic policies through continuous exchange between researchers and policymakers.
