Attending the conference were Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Kim (Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice Rector of the University) along with 75 delegates representing the leadership of training units, functional departments, centers, representatives of the Standing Committee of the Trade Union, the Youth Union - Student Association, and training assistants of various programs, student affairs and work assistants, and part-time inspectors of the units.

Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Kim - Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice Rector of the University, delivered a speech at the conference.
At the conference, delegates listened to the draft report on inspection and legal affairs work for the first semester of the 2016-2017 academic year and heard presentations from speakers on several management documents and legal regulations issued recently regarding personnel organization, quality assurance in training, and inspection and legal affairs.
Under the direction of the Party Committee and the School's Board of Directors, the Inspection and Legal Affairs Department (Inspection and Legal Affairs Department) has recently collaborated closely with functional departments, units, and political and social organizations within the school to conduct internal inspections and supervision in all aspects of operations in a proactive, serious, and highly effective manner; promptly addressing issues such as verifying diplomas and certificates, resolving complaints and denunciations, and detecting and handling violations of discipline, regulations, and rules.

Mr. Nguyen Van Thuy, M.Sc. - Head of the Inspection and Legal Affairs Department, reported on the inspection work at the conference.
Legal work during the first three months of the academic year was strongly promoted and expanded in terms of dissemination methods, while also delving deeper into understanding and protecting the legal interests of the University. The Inspection and Legal Affairs Department also coordinated with units within the University to inspect and review the implementation of State regulations and regulations of VNU; reporting and making recommendations to VNU (through the Inspection and Legal Affairs Department) on existing problems and limitations in the implementation of State regulations and VNU's administrative documents. The University's inspection and legal affairs work has fulfilled its nhiệm vụ, rightfully earning its place as a leading unit of VNU in inspection and legal affairs.

Dr. Ngo Thi Kieu Oanh - Head of the Personnel and Organization Department, disseminated some new documents on personnel and organization work.

Dr. Nguyen Van Chieu disseminated new documents on quality assurance work.
In his keynote address at the conference, Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Kim emphasized several key tasks for the coming period:
Firstly, inspection and supervision work in the coming period should focus on the end-of-semester exams for the first semester of the 2016-2017 school year.
Secondly, the Information and Communication Technology Department will continue to closely and promptly grasp new policies, resolutions, and regulations of the State, the industry, and VNU Hanoi to widely disseminate them to every staff member and student in the School with the aim of preventing and deterring violations of discipline and law, and maintaining order and discipline within the School.
Thirdly, heads of units should continue to study the new documents disseminated at the Conference to understand them clearly, implement them correctly and accurately, and apply them promptly; they are responsible for disseminating and conveying the content and ideas of the documents disseminated at the Conference to the staff, officials, and trainees of their units so that they are aware of and implement them. At the same time, it is also requested that heads of units coordinate more closely with the Information and Communication Technology Department so that information and communication technology work can be implemented more extensively and comprehensively in the future.
