From early morning, the students of the Agreement, from many countries in the region and around the world such as China, Japan, Russia, Ukraine, Poland, Germany, Cuba, etc., crowded the schoolyard, eagerly preparing to board the buses for the museum field trip. Joining the students were the teachers who directly taught them Vietnamese language and culture in class.

To facilitate their understanding of the cultures of Vietnam's ethnic groups, the students were divided into two groups upon arriving at the museum: one group toured the indoor museum first, and the other explored the outdoor museum. With the fascinating explanations of the museum staff, students of various nationalities were amazed by the unique cultural characteristics of the ethnic groups across Vietnam, such as the Viet, Muong, Tho, Chut, Tay-Thai, Hmong-Dao, Northern Mon-Khmer, Truong Son-Central Highlands Mon-Khmer, and Southern Island groups. By comparing these cultures with their own, the students gained a diverse and rich perspective on Vietnamese culture.

While the indoor exhibition introduced students to the diverse cultural landscapes of Vietnam, the outdoor architectural garden provided a comprehensive view of human ingenuity. The living spaces of various ethnic groups were recreated in the architectural styles of Cham and Vietnamese houses, Bana communal houses, Ede houses, Tay houses, Dao houses, Hmong houses, along with the unique features of Co Tu and Gia Rai burial houses… offering students many interesting experiences. The artistry of the craftsmen captivated and intrigued the students, perhaps that's why in many exhibition areas, students continuously asked questions to the museum's guides. In addition, the Southeast Asian culture exhibition, though relatively new, also provided students with a wealth of fascinating information.

In the cool weather of late autumn, a day of experiencing the cultures of Vietnam's ethnic groups brought many emotions to the students of the Faculty of Agreement. Surely, plans for in-depth research, exploration, and discovery of the diverse lands and people of Vietnam will blossom in them from these field trips.
