The conference attracted the attention of many scientists from various universities and research institutes nationwide. More than 40 papers by researchers were presented at the scientific conference.
The conference was divided into four sessions, addressing various aspects of Marxist philosophy and Vietnam, from history to contemporary life.
The topics of particular interest to the delegates were: the economic thinking of Karl Marx and its impact on modern society; Marx's economic theory of the capitalist mode of production in "Capital" and its contemporary significance; Hegel's problem of "alienation" as assessed by Marx in his 1844 manuscript "Economics and Philosophy"; the common ideas of Marx and Engels on man, society, and the state; and the ideas of the Marxist-Leninist classics on economics, production, science, and technology.

The discussion session on the topic of C. Marx through his works was chaired by Professor Dr. Nguyen Trong Chuan and Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Thuy Van.
The discussion topics, particularly the theoretical and practical issues related to Karl Marx and Vietnam, attracted significant attention from researchers. Reports presented at the conference addressed numerous theoretical and practical issues, including: the current state of research on Marx's legacy in Vietnam; Marx's historical materialism and the issue of building a development model in Vietnam today; and the application of the Marxist-Leninist law of production relations conforming to the level of development of productive forces in the construction of socialism in Vietnam today…
