On March 27, 2012, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Kim (Vice Rector), along with leaders from the Department of External Relations and International Training Cooperation, the Faculty of Oriental Studies, the Faculty of Information and Library Science, and the Graduate Training Department, held a meeting with a delegation from Seoul National University led by Professor Hyun Chin Lin (Director of the Asian Research Institute, Seoul National University).
On March 27, 2012, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Kim (Vice Rector), along with leaders from the Department of External Relations and International Training Cooperation, the Faculty of Oriental Studies, the Faculty of Information and Library Science, and the Graduate Training Department, held a meeting with a delegation from Seoul National University led by Professor Hyun Chin Lin (Director of the Asian Research Institute, Seoul National University).During the meeting, leaders from both sides exchanged and discussed cooperation in training and research in the coming period. In particular, both sides were interested in discussing the establishment of online training programs in subjects related to culture and society. It is expected that further discussions and specific plans will be made before the official signing of the cooperation agreement. Seoul National University has already collaborated on online training programs with several universities, including Tokyo University (Japan), Tsinghua University, and Peking University (China). Seoul National University hopes to soon develop a joint online training program in one or two subjects with the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. Leaders from both universities expressed confidence in the potential for future cooperation and hoped the program could begin implementation in 2013.
