To celebrate the success of the 7th Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the University and in response to Youth Month 2012, the Youth Union Branches of the Faculty of Management Science and the Faculty of Tourism Studies, along with the SIFE Team, jointly organized the "Light Up Your Mind 2012" competition on March 25, 2012. The competition attracted the participation of a large number of students from various faculties in the university.

The competition attracted the participation of a large number of students from various faculties in the university.The "Light Up Your Mind" competition has rules similar to the format of the "Golden Bell Ringing" game show on VTV3. 100 contestants participated in 20 questions covering various fields, including one English question, two questions about the Golden Book Collection, one question about the University's development stages, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the Youth Union of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, as well as knowledge about economics, society, history, and literature. After answering 14 questions, student Vu Thi Bich Thao (K54 Sociology) excellently won first prize, and second prize was awarded to student Tran Thi Thuy (K54 Sociology). "Light Up Your Mind" is a valuable intellectual playground for the youth of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, providing an opportunity for students to interact, learn, and assert themselves.
