Opening of Postgraduate Course QH-2018-X

Attending the ceremony were Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Minh (Principal of the School), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan (Vice Principal of the School).

On behalf of the University, Associate Professor, Dr. Bui Thanh Nam (Head of Training Department) announced the decisions and documents recognizing the PhD students and master's students admitted for the 2018 academic year. This year, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities has 46 PhD students and 410 undergraduate students admitted; of which 118 undergraduate students were admitted in the first round, 275 undergraduate students were admitted in the second round, and 17 undergraduate students are foreigners.

Associate Professor, Dr. Bui Thanh Nam announced the admission decisions for the 2018 school year.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Rector Hoang Anh Tuan sent his warmest wishes to the new PhD students and PhD students of the QH-2018-X course. He said: The University of Social Sciences and Humanities currently has more than 70 postgraduate programs with diverse majors/specializations, ensuring structure and compatibility with domestic needs as well as world trends. In recent years, the University has adjusted the training process, the way subjects are organized, and the process of preparing defense documents, in order to create conditions for the learning process of PhD students and PhD students to be more flexible and effective. The Vice Rector also requested that training units closely follow the training process, promote the spirit of service and innovation in postgraduate training.

At the end of the ceremony, on behalf of the new PhD students and PhD students, PhD student Nguyen Xuan Linh (majoring in International Relations) expressed his thanks for the attention and facilitation of the University in arranging and organizing a suitable training process. Mr. Linh shared: The University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU is a key university with a long-standing reputation in disseminating and creating knowledge, training high-quality human resources in Social Sciences and Humanities. He also wished the new PhD students and PhD students high achievements in their studies and research.

Immediately after the opening ceremony, the students and staff were informed of the new school year's training regulations and completed the admission procedures.
