Faculty of Humanities finished as runners-up in the 2018 Vietnam National University Hanoi Trade Union Football Tournament.

The University of Social Sciences and Humanities football team won second place overall.

Participating in the tournament with 15 players, the USSH team played a total of 6 matches. Before the final match against the University of Foreign Languages, the team had 5 wins and scored a total of 15 goals (3 group stage matches against the HSB-SIS Joint Team 3 (Faculty of Business Administration and Faculty of Interdisciplinary Sciences), Faculty of Law, University of Economics; a quarter-final victory against the VNU Hanoi Agency and a semi-final victory against Joint Team 1). The University of Social Sciences and Humanities team was praised for its technical, systematic, coordinated, and attractive play, receiving strong support from the audience. In addition to the second-place team award, Dao Tuan Anh of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities was awarded the Best Player award.

Dao Tuan Anh won the award for best player of the tournament.

The 2018 Vietnam National University Hanoi Trade Union Football Tournament was a great success. The organizing committee awarded prizes to outstanding individuals and winning teams:

• Total number of goals scored: 107.
• Top Scorer Award: To Hung Huy, University of Foreign Languages ​​(scored 11 goals).
• Best Goalkeeper Award: Goalkeeper Nguyen Minh Tuan, University of Foreign Languages.
• Best Player Award: Dao Tuan Anh, University of Social Sciences and Humanities.
• Oldest player: Nguyen Hai Thanh, International Faculty (1956).
• Style Award: National Defense and Security Center.
• Joint Third Place: University of Natural Sciences, Joint Team I.
• Second Prize: University of Social Sciences and Humanities.
• Champion team: University of Foreign Languages.

After more than a month of exciting competition in a round-robin format, the 2018 Vietnam National University, Hanoi Trade Union Football Tournament featured 17 teams from units under the Vietnam National University, Hanoi, with 35 matches played. The tournament was part of a series of activities celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Government's issuance of the Decree on the Vietnam National University, Hanoi.
