Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Minh - Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities attended and presented flowers to congratulate the authors.
The 20 best scripts were selected for the final round of the competition. Many of the works were judged to be of good quality, with unique ideas and perspectives.
After more than a month of launching (from October 19, 2017 to November 24, 2017), there were 58 entries. The Organizing Committee selected 20 best entries from authors and groups of authors to enter the final round of short film production.
Hoang Phuong Loan - student of class 62, Faculty of Journalism and Communication, University of Science and Humanities with the work "I am not lonely" has excellently entered the final round. This script is one of the highly appreciated works. At the award ceremony, Phuong Loan shared her joy at participating in this meaningful humane competition.
Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Thu Giang (Deputy Director of the Light Institute of Public Health) highly appreciated the quality of the submitted works. Many works had a new perspective, conveying profound messages about preventing abuse of girls. In particular, the scripts did not follow a dogmatic path but cleverly brought lessons and reflected the reality of life.
The authors of the 20 best scripts will attend a training course and receive support for film production. After completion, the short films will be submitted to the next round of the competition before February 11, 2018. The final night and the premiere of the winning film are scheduled for March 2, 2018.
