Signing of Memorandum of Cooperation with Guangxi University of Science and Technology

At the signing ceremony, Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Minh, on behalf of the University, expressed his great expectations for future cooperation opportunities between the two sides. The Principal believes that with many advantages such as geographical proximity between the two countries, cultural and historical similarities between the Vietnamese and Chinese peoples, student exchange activities will bring many benefits to both sides. This also contributes to the overall bilateral relationship between Vietnam and China.

Next, the leaders of both sides signed a bilateral agreement. This agreement aims to meet the needs of internationalizing education, on the basis of friendly cooperation and mutual benefit. Accordingly, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities – Vietnam National University, Hanoi and Guangxi University of Science and Technology will carry out the following specific activities:

1. Implement mutual visits between the two schools.

2. Implement cooperation and exchange in teaching, scientific research, academic activities, and exchange of educational information and documents.

3. Send teachers to teach or conduct scientific research according to your needs when necessary.

4. Implement cooperation in education and student training.

5. Based on the actual situation, the two sides will promote and introduce the partner school, deploy a student exchange network, and organize for students of their school to go to the partner school to improve their qualifications or do short-term or long-term internships. Specifically:

i. The two sides will base on the actual situation to select high school graduates to study at the partner's regular university, training cooperation models "0+4", "1+3", "2+2".

ii. The two sides agree to cooperate in the field of college-university bridging training. Issues related to training majors, recognition of credits and fees, etc. will be discussed in detail by the two sides and an agreement will be signed on this program.

This Memorandum of Agreement comes into force from the date of signing and is valid for 5 years.
