Signing a memorandum of cooperation with Guangxi University of Science and Technology.

At the signing ceremony, Professor Pham Quang Minh, on behalf of the university, expressed great expectations for future cooperation between the two sides. The Rector believes that, with many advantages such as the geographical proximity between the two countries and the cultural and historical similarities between the Vietnamese and Chinese peoples, student exchange programs will bring many benefits to both sides. This will also contribute to the overall bilateral relationship between Vietnam and China.

Following this, representatives from both sides signed a bilateral agreement. This agreement aims to meet the needs of internationalizing education, based on friendly cooperation and mutual benefit. Accordingly, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities – Vietnam National University, Hanoi and Guangxi University of Science and Technology will carry out the following specific activities:

1. Organize reciprocal visits between the two schools.

2. Develop cooperation and exchange in teaching, scientific research, academic activities, and the exchange of educational information and materials.

3. We will send teachers to teach or conduct scientific research as needed, according to your requirements.

4. Implement cooperation in education and student training.

5. Based on the actual situation, both sides will promote and introduce your (partner's) school, implement a student exchange program, and organize for your students to study at your partner's school for further education or short-term or long-term internships. Specifically:

i. Both sides will select high school graduates to attend your university's full-time program based on the actual situation, using cooperative training models such as "0+4", "1+3", and "2+2".

ii. Both parties agree to cooperate in the field of bridging programs from College to University level. Issues related to training majors, course recognition, fees, etc., will be discussed in detail and an agreement on this program will be signed between the two parties.

This memorandum of agreement takes effect from the date of signing and remains valid for 5 years.
