During the meeting, Professor Pham Quang Minh reaffirmed the importance of cooperation with foreign partners in the internationalization process of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. The Faculty of Psychology, in particular, has collaborative training and research relationships with many universities worldwide, such as the University of Toullouse II, the University of Nin (France), and Lomonosov Moscow State University. Psychology is increasingly being prioritized by the University, with the Faculty of Psychology ranking among the top 3 in terms of total student intake in 2017. To further enhance the quality of training and research of the Faculty and the University in general, the Rector proposed implementing cooperation with the Chinese Institute of Psychology through activities such as student and faculty exchanges, joint research, and, in the near future, successfully organizing the international conference "Psychology in Southeast Asia".
Professor Han Buxin shared the thoughts of Professor Pham Quang Minh and, on behalf of the Chinese Institute of Psychology, expressed its willingness to cooperate with the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. Initially, the Institute will collaborate with the World Association for Applied Psychology and the University's Psychology Department to update and promote the website for the upcoming international scientific conference "Psychology in Southeast Asia." This cooperation aims not only to strengthen bilateral relations but also to contribute to the development of psychology in the region and globally.
