The University of Social Sciences and Humanities held a sports exchange with the National Academy of Ethnic Minorities.

In collaboration between the Youth Union of the National Academy of Ethnic Minorities and the Youth Union - Student Association of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, on May 11, 2017, the two teams from the two units held a friendly match at Huyen Anh Stadium (Hoang Minh Giam Street).

Associate Professor Tran Trung (Acting Director of the National Academy of Ethnic Minorities) presented flowers and commemorative flags to representatives of the two schools.

Attending the football match were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Trung - Acting Director of the National Academy of Ethnic Minorities, along with leaders of functional departments and representatives of the Youth Union of the Academy. Representing the University of Social Sciences and Humanities were Mr. Nguyen Van Thuy - Vice President of the Trade Union, Head of the Inspection and Legal Affairs Department, Dr. Tran Bach Hieu (Secretary of the Youth Union), and members of the university's football team.

Following the opening remarks and the presentation of flowers and commemorative flags by Associate Professor Dr. Tran Trung, the two teams began the match with two 20-minute halves. The National Academy of Ethnic Minorities, with a team composed of many young players, launched an attack immediately after the opening whistle and quickly scored the opening goal in the early minutes while the defense of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities was still disorganized. The game then remained balanced, with the 1-0 score unchanged until the end of the first half. In the second half, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities team made several substitutions, and almost immediately, in the early minutes of the second half, they scored two goals to take a 2-1 lead. After that, the National Academy of Ethnic Minorities team gradually regained control, pushing their formation higher and scoring two consecutive goals to take a 3-2 lead. The match was dramatic until the 39th minute, when, after a well-coordinated play by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities team, player Hoang Quynh finished neatly, scoring the equalizer to make the score 3-3. Although it was only a friendly match, both teams delivered many beautiful plays. This exchange also opened the door to future cooperation between the two teams, the youth unions of the two universities, and in many other fields.
