During the meeting, Mr. Kamal Mamat introduced the A Level certificate, the recognition of A Level certificates by universities worldwide, the Cambridge English program certificates and services, and the application and examination procedures for A Level in Hanoi. A Level (Cambridge International Advanced Levels) is a two-year pre-university program for students aged 16 to 18, with flexible subject choices depending on the student/school. Hoping to promote and disseminate its entrance assessment standards in Southeast Asia, the University of Cambridge proposed that the University of Social Sciences and Humanities officially recognize the A Level certificate in the near future.

In response, Associate Professor Hoang Anh Tuan stated that, in the context of increasing international integration, attracting international students and lecturers is one of the important factors contributing to improving the quality and ranking of universities. Recognizing A Level certificates at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities will help improve the quality of student intake, enhance the effectiveness of selecting outstanding candidates, and make the university more attractive to international students.
