At the meeting, Mr. Kamal Mamat introduced the A Level certificate, the recognition of A Level certificates by universities around the world, the Cambridge English program certificates and services, and the application of A Level registration and examination in Hanoi. A Level (Cambridge International Advanced levels) is a 2-year university preparation program for students aged 16 to 18, with flexible subjects depending on the student/school's choice. With the hope of promoting and popularizing its entrance assessment standards in Southeast Asia, Cambridge University proposed that the University of Social Sciences and Humanities officially recognize the A Level certificate in the near future.
In response, Associate Professor Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan said that in the context of increasing international integration, attracting international students and lecturers is one of the important factors contributing to improving the quality and ranking of universities. Recognizing A Level certificates at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities will help improve the quality of the school's input, increase the effectiveness in selecting excellent candidates, and create more attraction for international students.
