NOHA is an association of universities worldwide that aims to enhance professionalism in humanitarian work through education and training, research and publications and projects. The Network currently has 12 European partner universities and 8 global partners. In the context of international humanitarian issues playing an increasingly strong role in international relations, NOHA wishes to expand the network to other regions of the world such as Southeast Asia, through cooperation with partner institutions such as the USSH.
Through this memorandum of understanding, USSH and NOHA will establish a mutual relationship based on academic, scientific and cultural cooperation. Areas of cooperation between NOHA and the University include exchanges of students, lecturers and researchers, provision of courses on humanitarian action, and joint collaboration in publishing, academic activities and research projects.
Specific activities that the two parties will carry out: i. Exchange of lecturers and/or researchers to provide courses and realize research projects agreed upon by both parties, ii. Exchange of students from master's level and above with the aim of attracting students to courses appropriate to their level and field of study, iii. Exchange of books, scientific publications, research programs, academic projects, information on courses, seminars, workshops and any information of mutual interest; iv. Develop joint research projects; v. Develop joint programs at master's level; vi. Realize all joint activities through official cooperation agreements and common conditions and obligations of the partners.
The validity of the agreement will be agreed upon by both parties.

Last year, on April 15, 2016, Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Minh attended the meeting of the Network for International Humanitarian Action (NOHA) organized by NOHA in collaboration with the University at Medallion Hotel, Hanoi. The meeting aimed to discuss the prospects of establishing the Network for International Humanitarian Action in Southeast Asia.
