To celebrate the successful conclusion of the 7th Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, term 2012-2014, the Youth Union and Student Association of the university organized a festival of revolutionary song performance teams on the evening of April 20, 2012. With unique and impressive performances, the team from the Faculty of Journalism and Communication won first prize.The festival features 16 teams from 15 student union branches and 4 affiliated student union branches. In this program, the teams will present songs praising the glorious Party, the great President Ho Chi Minh, love for the homeland; songs celebrating the beauty of the Vietnamese people; songs about the sea and islands, soldiers, the ideals of youth, and meaningful, humane sentiments; in various forms such as solo, duet, trio, and group performances. The festival also aims to guide students towards positive values in life; to continue maintaining the artistic activities of the university's student union; and to create an environment for exchange among students from different units.
