The discussion focused on exchanging and discussing the main issues: - Assessing the current situation of revolutionary ideals, ethics, and lifestyles of students; the work of educating revolutionary ideals, ethics, and lifestyles for students by the Youth Union and Association - The urgency of strengthening the work of educating revolutionary ideals, ethics, and lifestyles for students in the current period. - Factors affecting the work of educating revolutionary ideals, ethics, and lifestyles for students - Exchange of methods and models of activities in the work of educating revolutionary ideology, ethics, and lifestyles for students, and current criteria and standards of revolutionary ideals, ethics, and lifestyles of students. - Solutions of the Youth Union and Student Association in propagating and educating revolutionary ideals and lifestyles for students.
MSc. Trinh Minh Thai - Secretary of the Youth Union of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities - said that in order to improve the quality of political education, ideology, revolutionary ideals, and lifestyle ethics for union members, there needs to be a system of synchronous solutions. In the short and long term, it is necessary to identify the standard criteria for revolutionary ideals and lifestyle ethics for union members today, which are: absolute trust in the leadership of the Party, the management of the State, and the socialist regime; seriously implement the "Program for training union members in the new period"; build the image of young people in the new era "soldier-like, knowledgeable, creative, integrated"... School violence and issues arising in the work of educating ethics and lifestyle for students today are issues that the representative of the Youth Union of Tran Phu High School, Hoan Kiem, Hanoi mentioned and emphasized the need to build a mechanism to closely coordinate the three educational environments: family - school - society to educate students in ethics. Other opinions at the seminar also focused on discussing the role of the Youth Union and young cadres in educating students about revolutionary ideals, ethics and lifestyles; methods and models of activities that contribute to strengthening education, ethics and lifestyles for students... In response to the requirements of innovation, promoting industrialization, modernization of the country and international integration, the education of the Youth Union, especially the education of revolutionary ideals, ethics and lifestyles for the young generation, is posing new demands and requirements, especially for students, young intellectuals, the future of the country.
