According to Mr. Trinh Minh Thai, Secretary of the Youth Union of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, to improve the quality of political and ideological education, revolutionary ideals, and moral lifestyle for Youth Union members, a comprehensive system of solutions is needed. Both in the short and long term, it is necessary to identify standard criteria for revolutionary ideals, moral lifestyles, and lifestyles for Youth Union members today, namely: absolute trust in the leadership of the Party, the management of the State, and the socialist system; serious implementation of the "Youth Union Member Training Program in the New Era"; and building the image of a modern youth who is "independent, knowledgeable, creative, and integrated"... School violence and the issues raised in the current moral and lifestyle education of students were discussed and emphasized by the representative of the Youth Union of Tran Phu High School, Hoan Kien District, Hanoi, who stressed the need to build a mechanism for close coordination among the three educational environments: family, school, and society, to educate students on morality. Other opinions at the seminar also focused on discussing the role of the Youth Union and young cadres in educating students on revolutionary ideals, ethics, and lifestyles; methods and models of activities that contribute to strengthening the education of ethics and lifestyles for students... Given the demands of innovation, accelerated industrialization and modernization of the country, and international integration, the work of the Youth Union in educating the younger generation, especially in revolutionary ideals, ethics, and lifestyles, is posing new demands and requirements, particularly for students, young intellectuals, and the future of the country.
