Promoting cooperation with universities in Hong Kong.

At the invitation of the City University of Hong Kong and Hong Kong Baptist University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Minh led a delegation from the University, including Dr. Tran Thuy Anh (Deputy Head of the Department of External Relations and International Training Cooperation) and Dr. Bui Thanh Nam (Deputy Head of the Faculty of International Studies), to visit and discuss cooperation on April 16 and 17, 2012.
At the invitation of the City University of Hong Kong and Hong Kong Baptist University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Minh led a delegation from the University, including Dr. Tran Thuy Anh (Deputy Head of the Department of External Relations and International Training Cooperation) and Dr. Bui Thanh Nam (Deputy Head of the Faculty of International Studies), to visit and discuss cooperation on April 16 and 17, 2012.On April 16, 2012, Associate Professor Pham Quang Minh and members of his delegation visited and worked with Hong Kong Baptist University. The two sides discussed future cooperation directions such as student and faculty exchange, organizing summer classes, and collaborative research on international relations and journalism and media. Hong Kong Baptist University, established in 1956, is currently ranked 111th among the world's leading universities (according to Time Higher Education) with many renowned majors such as Journalism and Media, International Relations, Economics, etc. Both sides also agreed to consider signing a cooperation agreement between the two universities. On April 17, 2012, the delegation from the University visited and worked with City University of Hong Kong. Although only established in 1984, City University of Hong Kong is now ranked 110th (according to QS) among prestigious universities worldwide. The university has a total of 20,000 students across 130 undergraduate, master's, and doctoral programs in fields such as Business, Social Sciences, Arts, Engineering, Law, Asian and International Studies, and Creative Media. During the meeting, both sides agreed to establish a relationship and proceed to sign a cooperation agreement covering student exchange, faculty exchange, and the organization of short-term courses. City University of Hong Kong hopes to focus its cooperation on research in Vietnam, International Relations, Social Work, etc. The delegation concluded its visit and working trip to universities in Hong Kong successfully, opening up new avenues for cooperation and promoting the development of international exchange and cooperation for the university.
