The University of Social Sciences and Humanities (VNU Hanoi) will organize a scientific conference entitled "The Culture of the Overseas Vietnamese Community in Building National Unity". Individuals interested in this topic are invited to submit papers to the conference organizing committee.

The University of Social Sciences and Humanities (VNU Hanoi) will organize a scientific conference entitled "The Culture of the Overseas Vietnamese Community in Building National Unity". Individuals interested in this topic are invited to submit papers to the conference organizing committee.

The main topics of the workshop:

  1. Factors influencing the formation of fundamental human and cultural characteristics of the Vietnamese community abroad today.
  2. The basic characteristics of the Vietnamese community abroad today:
  3. Assessing the current state of cultural and spiritual life of the Vietnamese community abroad and the issues that need to be addressed.
  4. The current situation of the Vietnamese community abroad and leveraging their strengths in the nation-building process.
  5. Trends in the transformation of fundamental human and cultural characteristics of the Vietnamese community abroad in the coming years.

Submission deadline:

Deadline for submitting abstracts (300-500 words): before January 10, 2010.

The deadline for submitting full papers is February 10, 2010 (Articles should not exceed 7,000 words and should use Unicode font).
