Professor Nguyen Van Khanh receives the Ambassador of Pakistan.

This morning, Professor Nguyen Van Khanh, the Rector of the University, received Mr. Shahid Kiani, the Ambassador of Pakistan to Vietnam. The purpose of the meeting was to introduce information and explore opportunities for cooperation between the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and Pakistani universities, as well as the Pakistani Embassy in Vietnam.

Ambassador Shahid Kiani expressed his desire to establish a long-term cooperative relationship with the University, and on that basis, both sides need to have specific discussions to implement joint activities. The Ambassador also emphasized his readiness to send Pakistani scholars and students to Vietnam for study and cultural exchange, and conversely, he welcomes Vietnamese scientists and students to Pakistan.

Professor Nguyen Van Khanh expressed his delight at the Ambassador's visit. He said:The University of Social Sciences and Humanities wishes to establish and develop relationships with many universities in Pakistan.The Rector introduced several areas of the University's activities, particularly emphasizing the potential and achievements of the University in the field of Vietnamese language and culture training for foreigners. Regarding cooperation, in addition to staff and student exchanges, through the Pakistani Embassy in Vietnam, the University wishes to receive materials and books introducing Pakistani culture, country, and people for staff and students to use as reference in their studies and research.

Professor Shahid Kiani, a university professor specializing in Political Science and Diplomacy, who has taught at numerous universities around the world, has been invited by Professor Nguyen Van Khanh to give a talk and lecture to the university's students in the near future.

After the meeting, Mr. Shahid Kiani toured several departments, classrooms, and the Museum of Anthropology at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.
