On April 11, 2012, renowned photojournalist Nick Ut had a talk and interaction session with staff of the Center for Broadcasting and Communication Professional Services and journalism students.Nick Ut shared his memories of taking photographs of the Vietnam War. The story of the Napalm Girl photograph, in particular, garnered significant interest from students. Nick Ut shared his heartfelt and moving account of the circumstances surrounding the creation of this world-famous photograph. He said that even now, looking back at the photo evokes the same overwhelming and emotional feelings as it did back then. Notably, to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the Napalm Girl photograph (1972-2012), ABC News produced a documentary about Nick Ut's life.

In addition, photographer Nick Ut also shared his experiences working during the Vietnam War and in Hollywood. Many questions focused on photojournalism.
