At the meeting, Associate Professor Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan (Vice Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities) introduced the achievements, orientations and main goals of the University, emphasizing the goal of internationalization to raise the quality of training and research of the University to international standards.
Associate Professor Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan presented a souvenir to Mr. Andrew David, President of Stamford University.
The University has established cooperative relationships with over 250 international partners and will continue to expand the scope of cooperation in the coming time. On behalf of the University, the Vice President expressed his desire to learn from and promote cooperation with Stamford University through activities such as student and lecturer exchanges, joint research; especially short-term training programs and summer courses.
In response, Mr. Andrew David, President of Stamford University, thanked the USSH for its warm welcome. He said that as a member of the Laureat international university system, Stamford University expressed its desire to expand cooperation with universities in Southeast Asia, including Vietnam.
Associate Professor Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan highly appreciated the goodwill of Mr. Andrew David and hoped that the two schools would soon sign a cooperation agreement to realize the above activities.
Mr. Sebastian Henriksson, Deputy Director of International Admissions, led the delegation to visit some campuses of Stamford University.
