During the meeting, Associate Professor Hoang Anh Tuan (Vice Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities) introduced the achievements, orientations, and main goals of the University, emphasizing the goal of internationalization to raise the quality of training and research to an international level.

Currently, the University has established cooperative relationships with over 250 international partners and will continue to expand its scope of cooperation in the future. On behalf of the University, the Vice-Chancellor expressed a desire to learn from and promote cooperation with Stamford University through activities such as student and faculty exchanges, joint research; especially short-term training programs and summer courses.
In response, Mr. Andrew David, President of Stamford University, thanked the University of Social Sciences and Humanities for the warm welcome. He stated that, as a member of the Laureate International University network, Stamford University expressed its desire to expand cooperation with universities in Southeast Asia, including Vietnam.
Associate Professor Hoang Anh Tuan highly appreciated Mr. Andrew David's goodwill and hoped that the two universities would soon sign a cooperation agreement to realize the aforementioned activities.

Mr. Sebastian Henriksson, Vice President for International Admissions, led a delegation from the University of Stamford on a visit to several campuses.
Stamford International University – Bangkok was established in 1995. Stamford has partnerships with 75 universities in over 30 countries and is one of the top 10 international universities in Thailand for educational quality, according to the Higher Education Council's assessment for three consecutive years (2009-2011). Stamford offers bachelor's and master's programs in diverse fields such as Business Administration, Humanities, Science, Information Technology, etc.
