Youth of the Faculty of Humanities express their gratitude to Van Tho.

On the morning of July 30, 2017, Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Kim, Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice Rector of the University, along with representatives of the Youth Union and Student Association of the University, visited and presented gifts to Van Tho commune, Dai Tu district, Thai Nguyen province.

Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Kim, Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice Rector of the University, delivered a speech at the meeting.

Speaking at the meeting, Professor Nguyen Van Kim expressed: Van Tho is the place where the teachers and students of the University of Hanoi (now the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi) were evacuated during the war years. Even now, with peace restored, the teachers and students of the University always remember the memories of the support and assistance they received from the local people.

Professor Nguyen Van Kim expressed his wish for the locality and the University to continue maintaining a "trustworthy, solid, and long-lasting" relationship and promised to regularly assist the locality by sending faculty members from related fields such as Anthropology, Management Science, Political Science, etc., to conduct research and propose directions for the future development of the locality.

On behalf of the Youth of the Humanities, Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Kim presented 20 computer sets to the representative of the People's Committee of Van Tho commune. These computer sets will be installed and used by students at the local primary school. This is a youth project carried out by the Youth of the Humanities to express gratitude to the local people for their support and assistance to the teachers and students of the school.
