At the meeting, Associate Professor Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan (Vice Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities) introduced the achievements, orientations and main goals of the University, emphasizing the goal of internationalization to improve the quality of training and research of the University to international standards. Currently, the University has cooperative relations with over 250 international partners and will continue to expand the scope of cooperation in the coming time. On behalf of the University, the Vice Rector expressed his desire to learn from experience and promote cooperation with Stamford University through activities such as student and lecturer exchanges, conducting joint research; especially short-term training programs and summer courses.
In response, Mr. Sebastian Henriksson thanked the USSH for its warm welcome. He said that as a member of the Laureat international university system, Stamford University expressed its desire to expand its cooperation with universities in Southeast Asia, including Vietnam. Mr. Sebastian also invited representatives of the school's leadership to visit Stamford University in the near future.
Associate Professor Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan highly appreciated the goodwill of Mr. Sebastian Henriksson and hoped that the two schools would soon sign a cooperation agreement to realize the above activities. The Cooperation and Development Office will be the focal point between the two sides.
