Over 40 faculty members from the University participated in a training session on providing and utilizing digital resources, organized by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in collaboration with the Information and Library Center of Vietnam National University, Hanoi, on November 14, 2013.

The Web of Knowledge is a powerful tool for searching and evaluating the quality of scientific works based on a database of scientific citations from over 12,000 leading journals worldwide, updated weekly. This includes: 8,060 journals in the natural sciences and technology, 2,697 journals in the social sciences, 1,497 journals in the arts and humanities, and over 150,000 conference and seminar documents dating back to 1900.
The SAGE Premier Collection is a comprehensive collection of high-quality and influential research journals, including publications from over 200 academic research associations worldwide. SAGE Research Methods (SRM) is a professional tool designed to support researchers, faculty, and students in their research projects. With SAGE Research Methods, researchers can explore methods for selecting content in depth and breadth, expanding or customizing searches as needed; and read online, print, or email entire texts.
Taylor & Francis is an international academic publisher, annually publishing over 1,500 high-quality e-journal titles that are regularly reviewed and cited by leading professional organizations and researchers worldwide. In addition, Taylor & Francis publishes approximately 1,800 e-books annually, with a catalog of over 20,000 specialized topics from previous years.
In addition, during the training session, staff and lecturers were also guided on exploiting and sharing digital resources at the Information and Library Center of Hanoi National University. This training program provided staff and lecturers with more opportunities to access and enhance the use of electronic databases to support their research and teaching.
